I am an assistant professor in the Research, Evaluation, Statistics and Assessment (RESA) program at The University of Southern Mississippi. I earned a Ph.D. in education policy from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education with a dual M.A. in statistics from the Wharton School in 2026.

I study the causal impacts of policies on students, families and school systems using rigorous experimental and quasi-experimental research designs. I focus largely on K‑12 education funding and other policies that affect resource allocation, though my work covers a range of additional topics. I recently led the quantitative analyses for a national randomized impact evaluation of public Montessori preschool, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

I received the AERA–NSF Dissertation Grant Award for my dissertation on federal, state and local education finance policies. I was also an Institute of Education Sciences Predoctoral Fellow during my studies. I was recently accepted into the Fordham–AEI Emerging Education Policy Scholars 2027 cohort.
